In studying ancient texts of India as well as the Bible and a myriad of other scriptures of spiritual practice I came to find that the fundamental basis of all teachings of the world came from the concept of melding experiment and experience with the physical and metaphysical for the benefit of ourselves and the upliftment of our communities. In this day and age the blending of science and spirituality may seem contradictory, but the Yoga Siddhas of India were the masters of this concept. It was their view that in order to understand the spirit, one must experience the nature of the spirit to truly have our own understanding through constant experimentation with known and unknown practices. A teacher/practitioner of Babaji's Kriya Yoga, I have explored life through self-study, intense practice, and devotion to the Lord/God/Unknown or however you see your existence as more than just you. Strict practices in which the practitioner records and reviews their experiences in order to have their own personal understanding of the external and inner world of existence to make conclusions based on those experiences is the scientific approach to spirituality without dogma. The ultimate goal of life on Earth has been summarized by Babaji Nagaraj in the simple phrase "love all, serve all." I see no better or more concise way to put it. This principle ideal has been the center of many, if not all, spiritual and religious philosophies.
My goal on this page is to share my experience and knowledge of Self-study and understanding a way to "be in the world but not of it." Many of the sufferings that seem to plague the planet ultimately come from our own discomfort and fears. Let us practice faith and surrender to something bigger than ourselves, become more aligned with the oneness of the universe and our ability to feel connected to each other and all creations of this world.
